About Us
From my hands to your ideas.
Hi, I’m Jessica—“Mimi” to my grandkids and the heart and hands behind Mimi’s Fabulous Creations™ and Mimi’s Knit Studio.
My finger-knitting journey began in my living room while I was recovering from kidney cancer surgery. I needed a creative outlet to keep my hands busy and lift my spirits as I healed. I started making stuffies for my grandchildren, and seeing their faces light up over something made especially for them turned a simple craft into a passion.
The health challenges I have faced have taught me perseverance, patience, and the importance of giving myself grace on difficult days. I identify with the “zebras” in the rare-condition community—a reminder that some of us live with conditions others may not immediately recognize or understand.
Through it all, my love for God and my family keeps me grounded. My faith gives me strength and hope, and my family inspires so much of what I create. Some days, moving forward means one small step, or one more loop of yarn, and trusting God with the rest.
Mimi’s Knit Studio grew from that same love and determination, along with my belief that creating something beautiful shouldn’t require you to figure everything out alone. I’m building the tools I wished existed: tools to help finger knitters turn their own ideas, photos, and inspiration into something they can create with their own hands.
Whether you’re making a gift for a grandchild, a keepsake for someone special, or something cozy for yourself, I hope you find joy, encouragement, and room for your creativity here.
Made for finger knitters, by a finger knitter, with faith, love, and a little perseverance woven into every creation.

Meet Gabby
Hey, I’m Gabby! I’m Jessica’s daughter-in-law and the mom of the grandkids who call her Mimi! Gabby’s Studio is my own little corner of that creative family, where I share my love of finger knitting and creations made from the heart. 🩷
Living with chronic illness comes with challenges that many people don’t see. Some days are harder than others, and finding something that brings me joy, peace, and a sense of purpose means more to me than words can explain.
For me, finger knitting has become so much more than a hobby. It’s a creative outlet and a welcome distraction from the daily struggles of chronic illness. It gives me something positive to focus on, a way to express myself, and a little happiness even on difficult days. 🧶✨
I love taking simple yarn and turning it into something beautiful, cozy, and made with love. Every loop reminds me that even when life gets hard, there are still beautiful things we can create. Each piece carries a little bit of my heart, patience, and passion.
By sharing my creations with you, I hope to bring a little warmth and happiness into your life while doing something that brings light into mine. Every order and every bit of encouragement means so much to me. I’m grateful to share something I love with you.
Thank you for being here, supporting my journey, and helping my little corner of creativity grow. 💗
One loop at a time, finding joy through the hard days. 🧶💕
